Steve Edward Brackett

Steve Edward Brackett, 71, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed from this life on Monday, February 17, 2025, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Steve was born September 6, 1953, to Charles Edward Brackett and Dorothy Louise (Stanislawski) Brackett in Knoxville, Tennessee. 

Steve spent his working years in construction. Steve always enjoyed spending time with his family. He also enjoyed spending his free time tinkering with projects. He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend. 

Steve leaves to mourn his three daughters, Tina Smith(Ronnie) of Independence, Missouri Stepheney Brackett of Columbia, Missouri, and Abby Albright of Burns, Wyoming; three grandchildren, Anna Smith of Independence, Missouri, Zac Smith of Independence, Missouri, and Gray Albright of Burns, Wyoming; four great grandchildren, Ava Smith of Independence, Missouri, Luca Smith of Independence, Missouri, Xander Smith of Independence, Missouri, and Kinsley Smith of Independence, Missouri; brother, Michael Brackett of Henderson, Arkansas; sister, Debra Walker (John) of Henderson, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his son (Stephen Brackett), daughter (Carrie Brackett), parents (Charles and Dorothy Brackett), brother (Ronnie Brackett), and two sisters (Linda Sellars and Vicky Brackett). 

No services are scheduled at this time. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
