Susan "Susie" Jo (Skrapates) Hutson

Susan “Susie” Jo (Skrapates) Hutson, 54, of Wiseman, Arkansas passed away August 27, 2023, at her home in Wiseman, Arkansas. Susie was born July 15, 1969, to Scoval Floyd and Judith Ruth Skrapates in Salem, Arkansas.  
 
Susie was united in marriage to Gary Wayne Hutson on June 7, 2014, in Wiseman, Arkansas. Susie spent over 20 years working as a Nurse. Susie enjoyed camping, going to ball games, and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Susie was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, friend, and attended church at the Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Salem, Arkansas.  
 
Susie is survived by her husband, Wayne Hutson of Wiseman, Arkansas; two sons, Wes James and wife Leslie of Salem, Arkansas and Jesse James of Salem, Arkansas; daughter, Jamie Beck and husband Mike of Salem, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Rhett James, Nolan Beck, Avery James, and Bradie Beck; brother, Thomas O’Donnell of Salem, Arkansas; four sisters, Kathleen O’Donnell of Conway, Arkansas, Mary Estes of Salem, Arkansas, Debi Sutherland and husband Den of Camp, Arkansas, and Ruth Skrapates and husband Randy of Roanoke, Texas; and many other relatives and friends. 
 
Memorial services will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Rev. Bobby Coleman officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until time of service on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at Barker Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
