Terry Lee Dailey, 66, of Viola, Arkansas departed this life on Monday, January 6, 2020 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Terry was born to the late Lonnie Edger Dailey and Zelma Florence (Powell) Dailey on November 29, 1953 in Newport, Arkansas.
Terry was united into marriage to Nancy Louise White on May 14, 1976 in Salem, Arkansas and to this union two children were born. Terry was a tender hearted and compassionate man who enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play ball. Terry spent his working years at various jobs, but the one he loved the most was as an owner/operator of his own big truck. Terry was a member of the New Viola Masonic Lodge #741 F&AM, a member of Salem Immanuel Baptist Church, and served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
He leaves to mourn his passing; wife, Nancy Dailey of Viola, Arkansas; son; Chris Dailey and wife Melissa of Navarre, Florida; two daughters, Farra Rowden and husband Robbie of Viola, Arkansas and Rylee White of Viola, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Madelyn Dailey, Mattix Rowden, Harper Rowden, and Maisey Dailey; sister; Patsy Dailey of Fairbury, Illinois; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister (Debra Florence Ortega), and three brothers (Larry Edger Dailey, Ricky Allen Dailey, and Jeffery Dailey).
Funeral services are 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 10, 2020 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. Alan Winberry officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Barker Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Salem, Cemetery in Salem, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Chris Dailey, Robbie Rowden, Josh Dailey, Jeffery Dailey, Rick Dailey, Mark Cornell, Buddy Brogan, and Derrick Ortega. Honorary pallbearers are Read Parker, Payton Parker, Bobby Mullins, Dwayne Mullins, Boyd Dailey, Skip Dailey, Galen White, Lynn Luther, Joe Ortega, Dennis Brown, Mike Norman, and Jimmy Jones. Memorials may be made to a Veterans Suicide Prevention Program of your choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas.
