Thomas “Tommy” Daniel Bassham, 19, of Salem, Arkansas, passed from this life on Friday, May 27, 2022, at Salem, Arkansas. Tommy was born September 20, 2002, in Newport, Arkansas.
Tommy graduated from Salem High School in 2021 and was involved in various activities with his greatest love being football. Tommy served as a Fulton County Fair Ambassador, loved singing, and enjoyed spending time with his cousins. Tommy was a member of the Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas and was very active in the church and loved serving the Lord. He was a loving son, brother, and friend.
Tommy leaves to mourn his passing, parents, Mark and Laurie Bassham of Salem, Arkansas; sister, Dakota Bassham of Saginaw, Michigan; special friend, Michaela Sena of West Plains, Missouri; grandmother, Vera Bassham of Salem, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents (Ronald and Marjorie Smith and Thomas Bassham).
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at the Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. until time of service on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at the Salem First Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Stateline Cemetery in Moko, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Sebastian Agnew, Kyle Knight, Chandler Slater, Seth Brazeal, Lucas Tanner and Josh Watson. Honorary pallbearers will be Frankie Auten, Wayne Guiltner, Luke Barker, and Albert Hobbs. Memorials may be made to the Salem High School Athletic Program. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
