Tilmon "Duck" Hamilton Bassham

February 25, 1930 — May 27, 2019

Tilmon H. “Duck” Bassham, was born February 25, 1930 in Moko, AR to the late James H. & Lennie M. (Carter) Bassham, and passed away May 27, 2019 at Hospice House of Shiawassee County at the age of 89. He is survived by sons Steven and Robert; daughters Kathlyn and Diana (Brown); ten grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; sister Anna, and other relatives and friends. Duck was reunited in Heaven with his wife Hetty "Pat"; daughter Rebecca (Smith); his parents, three sisters, six brothers and many other family members and friends.             .

A special thanks to the staff at Union Court Assisted Living in Chesaning, MI for the care and friendship they provided Duck for the past year.    

The family is being served by Barker Funeral Home, Salem, AR. Cremation has taken place and burial at Stateline Cemetery will occur at a later date.                           .

Memorial contributions may be made to the Stateline Cemetery Association, Salem, AR or to Hospice House of Shiawassee County, Owosso, MI.    

Memorial services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 6, 2019 at Stateline Cemetery in Moko, Arkansas with Nelson Bassham officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas.
